Zeynep Yavuz is a partner in the banking & finance practice at Özok Law Office specialized in project finance, acquisition finance, Islamic finance and structured finance with a focus on infrastructure, real estate, healthcare, PPPs and renewable energy.
She represents Turkish and foreign investors, sponsors, debtors and creditors including local and international commercial and investment banks, multilateral and local financial institutions and IFIs with respect to a broad range of domestic and international transactional matters regarding project finance, acquisition finance, structured finance, Islamic finance, refinancing and restructuring. Zeynep has also been extensively advising our clients in drafting and negotiating project finance, structured finance and acquisition finance agreements and related security arrangements.
Zeynep received her LL.B. degree in 2007 from Istanbul University, Faculty of Law and received her master’s diploma in relation to economy law from Galatasaray University in 2009. She is admitted to practice in Istanbul Bar Association as of 2008 and speaks fluent English.
Prior to joining to Özok Law Office, she has worked in the banking & finance departments of two major law firms in Istanbul and as an in-house legal counsel in one of the top-five largest banks in Turkey.
